The base C7 is expected to arrive with noticeable performance and price bumps. In this MT Poll, we want to hear your first thoughts on the matchup among the latest of three legendary sports car lines: For $100,000 or less, would you drive a well-equipped Corvette, new Viper, or 911 Carrera S?

Chevrolet Corvette vs. SRT Viper vs. Porsche 911 Carrera S – Pick One

The 2014 Corvette Stingray is powered by a 6.2-liter V-8 making at least 450 hp, though the high-performance Z06 and ZR1 models will return before long. While GM hasn’t released information on those future Corvettes, the current Z06 and ZR1 make 505 hp and 638 hp, respectively. A 640-hp 8.4-liter V-10 resides under the Viper’s hood and a rear-mounted 400-hp 3.8-liter flat-six cylinder engine powers the 911 Carrera S. While the Viper’s mighty V-10 is mated exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission (for now), the new Corvette and 911 Carrera come with a seven-speed manual. A six-speed automatic is available on the Corvette, while a seven-speed dual-clutch is available on the 911.
Now that all three iconic sports cars have been significantly updated, we want to know which one you would choose as a daily-driver if you had as much as $100,000 to spend. This poll was inspired by a thread from the Motor Trend forums from forum member TOTS.
