2014 Jaguar XFR-S Growls Through the Canyons Jaguar is putting the new XFR-S’ 550 horses into action with a new video released just after the car’s Los Angeles auto show debut. The 2014 Jaguar XFR-S growls its way through twisty canyon roads, giving us a small idea of the car’s capabilities. Powered by the same supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 as the XKR-S coupe, the XFR-S is the automaker’s fastest sedan to date. Power is routed to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission with a sport mode.

2014 Jaguar XFR-S Growls Through the Canyons
In the video, the nearly six-figure luxury sports sedan drifts its way around corners, smoking the large 20-inch rear Pirelli tires as the exhaust angrily growls off the canyon walls. The XFR-S’ huge rear wing is said to reduce lift by 68 percent, and although we don’t mind the bright blue paint, Jaguar will offer the 100 units set for U.S. sale in gray, red, black, and white.
Check out the video below to see and hear the Jaguar XFR-S’ intoxicating exhaust note. Read about the full XFR-S reveal at the 2012 L.A. Auto Show here.
